AATA’s Mentorship Program: Mentors Needed

The American Art Therapy association is seeking Mentors:

The American Art Therapy Association created the Mentor Program several months ago to expand its professional service offerings to our members. The Mentor Program is specifically focused on our Student and New Professional members to provide them with support and information from our Credentialed Professional, Professional and Retired Professional members.

We are in great need of mentors for our mentees. We already have an extensive waiting list of mentees seeking the wisdom, experience and expertise of our professional members.  To better understand what the Mentor Program process involves, click on

Interested mentors should email the American Art Therapy Association at    mentor@arttherapy.org.

We currently have mentees who are seeking mentors in your state.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give in promoting the Mentor Program and for considering participation yourself.  I have become a mentor and it has been an enriching experience.

Several Chapter Presidents have e-mailed me and said they have put the request for mentors in their Chapter newsletters, websites, and also e-blasts.  Thank you to these Presidents as we have received mentors from these states.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 330-864-0452 or jmartinatr@sbcglobal.net .

Sincerely,

Jacky Martin, M.Ed., ATR-BC
